These terms cover Go Together — the web app at gotogether.purposedit.com and its text-messaging features — operated by Purposed IT, Inc. (“we”, “us”). By using Go Together you agree to them. Questions: support@purposedit.com.
1. What Go Together is
Go Together helps a group of friends collect places and events they want to go to, say who’s in, vote on a day, and keep a shared plan. Groups are private: only people a member invites can see a group.
2. Your account
- Accounts are by invitation. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email; keep access to that inbox secure.
- You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Go Together.
3. Your content
You own what you add — places, links, notes, votes and plans. You let us store it and show it to the members of the groups you add it to, only to run Go Together. Don’t add anything unlawful, infringing, or meant to harass anyone. Links you share point to other sites, which have their own terms.
4. Groups and Go Together Plus
A group’s owner can invite and remove members, share or turn off the group’s invite link, and turn on optional Go Together Plus features for the group, such as the group chat assistant described below. Any price is shown before you upgrade.
5. Text messaging terms
Program: Go Together group chat assistant, operated by Purposed IT, Inc. Details and how to sign up: gotogether.purposedit.com/sms.
- Who gets texts: only members who add their own mobile number in the app, check the box agreeing to receive texts, and confirm the number with the code we text them.
- What we send: a verification code; replies to texts you send to a Go Together number (your group’s list, polls and votes, and “add this place?” questions about links you share); and reminders of your groups’ plans — at most one a day per group on days with something planned, plus an optional weekly round-up the group owner can turn on.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop: reply STOP to any message. You’ll get one confirmation and no more texts. You can also untick “Text me reminders and replies” or remove your number in the app. Reply START to resubscribe.

- Agreeing to texts is not required to use Go Together.
- US and Canadian mobile numbers only.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your number is handled as described in the Privacy Policy; we never sell it or share it for marketing.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse Go Together: no spam, no adding phone numbers or email addresses that aren’t yours or that you weren’t given permission to use, no scraping, and no attempts to get around its security or limits. We may suspend accounts that do.
7. Changes and availability
We may change or discontinue features. When these terms change, we’ll post the new version here with a new date; continuing to use Go Together means you accept it.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Go Together is provided “as is”. Details such as opening hours, prices and drive times come from links you share or are estimates — check them before you go. To the extent the law allows, Purposed IT, Inc. isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses from using Go Together.
9. Ending
You can stop using Go Together at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@purposedit.com.
